BCSA unplayable field conditions

If thunderstorms or other bad field conditions exist before the match is started then the field coordinator officially closes the field by 8:00 PM the night prior to the match and it is simply rescheduled.  The field coordinator emails both coaches, the league director and the age group coordinator including the game number, game date and time, age group and gender of match.

The game must have a reschedule date within 2 weeks of the original game date, but the game doesn't have to be played within 2 weeks, just a reschedule date set.

If the game has begun then the referee team is paid for both the rainout game and the rescheduled game.  Typically the league does not reschedule a game if at least half of it has been played.

If the game has not started then refs are not paid.
