Facilities Coordinator - Struble Home Game Change Procedure

The procedure that the coach should follow can be found here.  This article is for the field coordinator and picks up where the coaches finishes.  MESC uses Struble Field for league games.  The schedule is set up with the Town Of Union (ToU) well in advance of league play but must be updated as conflicts arise.

To reschedule a home game the following procedure is to be used:

  • Receive the request from the MESC coach which should include a proposed date and time.
  • Check with the ToU calendar of events linked above for availability.  The Google Sheet internal schedule should also be checked in parallel.
  • Confirm with the coaches that their time is available or provide options if not.
  • Create a change entry in the shared Google Sheet and also update the internal schedule tab.  These are both an internal tracking mechanism for the club and are not visible to the ToU or BCSA.
  • Email the ToU primary contact listed above, using the template in the Google Sheet.  1 email for every game change.  Proceed when acknowledged.
  • Email the league coordinator, appropriate age group coordinator, league president, home and away coaches, and MESC staff as listed in the Google Sheet.  1 email for every game change.
